The Bev Lewis Center for Women's Athletics

Lady'Back Facilities
The University of Arkansas Women's Athletics Department prides itself on some of the nation's finest athletic venues. Starting with the one-of-a-kind Bev Lewis Center for Women's Athletics, the Lady Razorbacks enjoy the finest venues in America. From Bud Walton Arena for basketball to Lady'Back Yard for softball; from Barnhill Arena for gymnastics and volleyball to Lady'Back Field for soccer, Arkansas' home fields and courts are second to none.

The crown jewel is the recently finished Lewis Center. Located at the heart of all Lady Razorback facilities, the Lewis Center is home to the 7,000-square foot weight training area -- exclusive to the 11 Lady Razorback teams.
The Lewis Center is immediately south of Barnhill Arena, the home for the majority of coaches' offices of the Women's Athletics Department. Barnhill Arena isn't the same building that was the home of Arkansas basketball. In 2002, the most recent of three major renovations at Barnhill Arena was completed by the Women's Athletics Department. Adding new seating, new sound and new lighting, Barnhill is now home the Gym'Backs, ranked top five in the nation in attendance, and volleyball, the dominant team of the SEC Western Division with eight titles in their first nine seasons.
The most important aspects of Arkansas' women's facilities are the high-caliber equipment and the lack of any scheduling conflicts with other teams. For example, Barnhill Arena is the exclusive home for volleyball in the fall and gymnastics in the spring. No shifting of equipment or resetting of basketball goals to accommodate the Lady Razorbacks.
Barnhill Training Room      The main Lady Razorback training room in Barnhill Arena is state-of-the-art. From hot or cold hydrotherapy to high-tech rehabilitation equipment, the female athletes are the first priority. There are also satellite training rooms at Lady'Back Field for soccer, the Lewis Center for gymnastics training and the Lady'Backs share access to the training room at Walton Arena for basketball.
At the Bogel Academic Center, Lady'Backs receive the benefit of their own tutors working within a nurturing environment. Located in the east stands for Reynolds Razorback Stadium, the Bogel Center provides Lady'Back athletes with their own computer lab, individual study carrols and group study areas.
Barnhill is typical of the Lady'Back facilities. It is the nation's largest (9,000 seats) volleyball-only, gymnastics-only facility. There are no scheduling conflicts with men's teams at Barnhill -- the Lady'Backs are the No. 1 tenant.
The same applies at Lady'Back Field, the nation's first women's only soccer pitch and field house, and Lady'Back Yard, one of the finest softball facility in the Southeastern Conference which has received national awards.
Add to this America's fastest indoor track stadium -- the Randal Tyson Track Complex -- and the finest indoor tennis facility in the South -- the Dills Family Tennis Center.
The Tyson Complex has been the host of the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Indoor Track Championships since it opened in 2000. Also the home of several major events including the Golden Spike Tour, the Tyson Invitational and the SEC Championships, the Tyson Complex is one of the largest track-only indoor venues in the world.
At the Dills Tennis Center, the Lady Razorbacks have their own locker room and offices areas along side the Razorback men's team. With six courts, electronic score tenders, team scoreboards and chairback seating for 1,000 fans, the Dills Center is one of the most comfortable collegiate indoor tennis arenas for both fans and competitors.
