team four new divers for the 2004-05 season.
"It's been a real good year recruiting wise.
All the recruits have great attitudes and huge up-sides because they want
to be good. I am real excited about the potential they have," stated Reich.
Kushner is a native of Thunder Bay, Ontario,
and attended St. Ignatius High School where she competed for the Thunder
Bay Diving Club.
"Brieanne is from Mandy's (Moran) hometown
and hasn't been diving very long, just four years. If I'm any judge of
talent, she will do great things in the future," said Reich.
With the Thunder Bay Club, Kushner qualified
for the junior and senior national meets.
A native of Olathe, Kan., Palmer attended
Olathe East High School and competed for the Jayhawk Diving Club of Lawrence,
A four-year letterwinner in diving and gymnastics,
Palmer finished in first place at the state meet as well as leading her
team to the diving championship her sophomore and junior years. With her
senior diving season remaining, Palmer holds the six-dive and 11-dive
records at her school. With her club team, Palmer placed at Regionals
and qualified for the Zone meet. Palmer also won two state championships
in gymnastics as a prepster.
"Madison was a high school state champion
and all-American but has never been in a strong diving program. She is
a diamond in the rough with a lot to learn, I am excited about her potential,"
