to Compete at Olympics
By Melanie Robotham, UA
FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas senior Zsuzsa
Csobanki is going to the Olympics to swim for the Hungarian national team.
"Obviously this is an exciting opportunity
and it is even better because she trains extremely hard," said head coach
Anne Goodman James, "This spring it didn't pay off for her but she worked
through that, kept training and it paid off at the right time."
Csobanki's time of 26.47 won the 50-free at
the Hungarian Nationals in Budapest, was an Olympic 'B' cut and met other
time standards to qualify for the games.
Csobanki specializes in the free and butterfly events
for the Lady Razorbacks and has been training at home this summer in preparation
for the Olympics. She won five and a half events while scoring 311.75
points for Arkansas last season.
